Is a white PCB better than a green one?
The obvious answer is that white PCBs are no better than green PCBs. PCB mainly provides interconnection between components. The color will not affect their performance. The different colors are just because different colors of solder resist are used, and the solder resist will not affect the performance.
Although it will not affect performance, in other aspects, PCBs of different colors will have different problems that affect costs.
For example, black is prone to color difference. If the craftsmanship is slightly inferior, the color may vary greatly. The white PCB we are talking about today is rarely seen in daily life. Commonly used white PCBs are aluminum substrates and some special computer motherboards. White PCBs will turn yellow when used for a long time, so the surface may need a layer of coating. White Tiger, so whether it is from inventory or other reasons, white PCB is more expensive than green PCB in cost. Green PCB is the default color and is very mature in all aspects, so green is the simplest color and has no other problems.
