After the Lunar New Year holiday, POE team members returned to work ready to take on 2026. To celebrate the start of the new year and strengthen team bonds, we organized a hiking trip to Tanglang Mountain—a chance to step away from our desks, enjoy the outdoors, and set goals for the year ahead.
After wrapping up the morning's work, the team gathered for lunch at Xiang Lu, a local Hunan restaurant. Over plates of spicy, flavorful dishes, everyone caught up on their holiday stories and toasted to a successful year ahead. It was the perfect way to reconnect and kick off the year together.
At 2:30 PM, we arrived at Longzhu Gate at Tanglang Mountain Park. The team looked sharp in our custom "Year of the Horse" hoodies—complete with festive designs for the Chinese zodiac year. We snapped our first team photo of 2026 before hitting the trail.
The hike followed a winding mountain road with a steady incline. Some team members powered ahead, while others took a more leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery. Whenever the trail got steep, colleagues encouraged each other and lent a helping hand—a reminder of the supportive culture we've built at POE.
The conversation and laughter made the climb fly by. After about an hour and a half, we reached our destination: Baichi Sky Bridge. From the summit, we had stunning views of Shenzhen sprawling below—a moment to appreciate how far we've come and look ahead to where we're going.
Though everyone was a bit sweaty and tired, the sense of accomplishment was clear. We gathered for another group photo at the top, capturing the moment and the team spirit that brought us there.
This mountain hike was more than just exercise—it was a chance to build camaraderie and start the year on a high note. As we head back to work, we're carrying that same energy and determination with us. Here's to making 2026 a great year for POE!
