As the broadcast announced 'Dear passengers on board G..., POE family sets off on a journey to explore other people's lives. This time, we will spend a few days in a beautiful place that boasts the magnificent wonderland of Mangshan, the picturesque East Lake, the graceful and shy Yangtian Lake, the splendid history of the Yuhou Street Xiang-Yue ancient road, and the warmth of the 'Half-a-Quilt' in the beautiful leisure countryside of Shazhou Village, known as the most beautiful city in the five continents - Chenzhou!
We long for the boundless grasslands of Hulunbuir, and dream of the gullies and valleys of the Xinjiang grasslands, but now we are captivated by the natural and breathtaking beauty of the Yangtian Lake grasslands, with towering gorges, primitive forests, and natural wetland ecology that seems to connect with the horizon. This is our first stop.
Passing the dam, the mist enshrouds and creates a mysterious and charming atmosphere. It is like a painting, intoxicating and dreamlike. I cannot find words to describe the exquisite beauty before me.
The magic and wonder of nature create a beautiful scenery that attracts countless tourists to admire. The green bamboos and trees sway on both sides of the plank road, and the red and green grasses bloom. As the mist gradually dissipates, the clear and pristine water reflects the blue sky. The green mountains on both sides are no longer hazy and appear to be undulating and layered.
Every city has various old streets that people love to visit and explore. The smoke and fire atmosphere and the historical heritage always attract people to visit. The thousand-year-old Yuhou Street, known as the 'Qingming Riverside Picture' of southern Hunan, is no exception.
After nightfall, the crowds make the ancient street lively. The bluestone slabs, hanging buildings, lime walls, wooden windows, and red lanterns tell the stories of history. Local delicacies such as barbecues, snacks, and popular tea drinks are everywhere, but they are not budget-friendly.
We arrived at Gaoye Ling, and the first thing that caught our eye was a towering mountain that looked like a giant standing there. The beauty of the Danxia landform is not only in the integration of mountains and water, not only in the combination of trees and rocks, but also in the interlocking of the mountain body. It is a primitive scenic area that makes people intoxicated, and it is not an exaggeration to call it 'a heavenly wonderland forgotten by God.'
'To visit Chenzhou is breathtaking, and to miss it is a regret.' The trip ended perfectly. Traveling is the best way to relax our body and mind. After taking a break from work, we will continue to move forward and create the next legend for POE.
